Empowering You to Build and Grow Your Laptop Lifestyle

Email marketing and a blog are two totally different things.

They are very different ways that you can market something, this could be a products and or services.

You are going to find that just because someone is using email marketing to make an online income, does not mean that they are not also using blog marketing as well.

What is the difference between email marketing and a blog

Blog Marketing

Blog marketing is when you are using your blog to promote a product and or a service.

You will be able to create content that markets your product and or service in a way that appeals to others and is something that they may need or want.

By using a blog you can share information about a product that you are currently using and want to let other people know about it.

There are several ways that you can do this and you can make it as simple or as complicated as you want, such as:

You can market your blog by exchanging links with other blogs that are relevant to your blog niche.

You can leave comments on other blogs that will in return get you more visitors and readers to your own blog.

It is important to note that updating your blog regularly will have a massive impact on your blog.

Email Marketing

Email marketing is when someone is using email to get the word out about a product and or service.

To do this you would have your visitors to sign up for a newsletter, and then you would send an email out to all of your subscribers.

However, you will discover that email marketing is great for many other things than getting the word out.

You can add affiliate links within your newsletters and encourage readers to sign up in order that you will get commission from those affiliate links.

Marketing is marketing and how you do is very similar.

The important thing is to know your target audience because that is who you will be aiming your marketing efforts towards.

Once you know who your target audience are you are good to go because you now know who wants what you are selling.

So whatever method you choose to use or even a combination of different methods.  It could be:

  • Email Marketing
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Marketing offline

The same rules apply. Knowing who your target audience is will make all the difference. Because if you know who wants what you are selling you should have no problems selling.

Blog and email marketing are similar in many ways, but at the same time they are also very different.

When you are using a blog for your marketing you will need to post what you are selling on your blog.

But with email marketing you will be using an email to your subscribers who are already interested.

This is why I would say that it is a great idea if you have a blog website to give your readers the option to sign up for your newsletter for email marketing just like the one that I have on this website.

Because you have subscribers that are interested in knowing more of what you have to say and interested in your content on your website. You will know that you are not sending spam emails but emails that have been requested.

Whichever you prefer to so, whether it is blog marketing or email marketing you can still get great results.

I would say that you will need to invest time into your venture and be patient and know that persistence is the winning formula to achieving what you want.
