I know that I keep mentioning that successful blogs have a lot of traffic that visit their blogs regularly. That is because it is important because without traffic constantly visiting your blog it will be dead in the water.
You need traffic and a lot of traffic if you want to survive in the world of internet marketing. That is just marketing 101.
There are many ways that you could spend your energies to obtain traffic but in truth only a few of them really get results and are worth your time and energy.
If you are a beginner, you should stick to the free ways of getting traffic for obvious reasons, like you may not have a lot of money to spend on advertising.

Another great way to get traffic to you website is with article marketing. You can do this with writing a 400 to 700 word articles and submit them to the top article directories.

Free Advertising with Forum Marketing
Another great way to get free traffic is with the use of forum marketing. Sign up with forum that are relevant to your niche so that you will get targeted traffic to your website.
In the forums you will be able to post helpful messages. A word of caution is that you should know that in forums you will be only putting your website details in your profile and not in your helpful messages because this will be seen as spam. So keep that in mind.
