To make money online so many people will just jump right in before they are properly prepared and have done their research.
In reality to be a rocket scientist, a construction worker, an office worker, a nurse, a doctor, a Life Coach there are steps that you will have to take and things that you must learn way before you can become successful you don’t just jump right in unprepared.
Well the same thing applies within the internet marketing industry even though there are many unsavoury people out there who would have you believe that is just like a ‘walk in the park’ and will only require that you just believe that you can and just do it.
Well the ‘walk in the park’ bit is fairly accurate when you compare it to working a regular 9 to 5 job, where you are working towards someone else’s passions and dreams and someone that does not have your best interest at heart, but in saying that there still will be rules that you will have to follow in order to become successful. And pitfalls you must avoid to get the best experience in getting internet marketing to work for you.
Now in the real work most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others that are making more money in a month that many people are making in a whole year.
The Question Here is, Why is That?
I am gonna start with an age-old question of the chicken or the egg. “What came first the chicken or the egg”?
To be honest this is one of those questions that always comes back to the same old conclusion and I haven’t got a clue and not sure many people do either.
But one thing I do know a little about and do have a clue about is making money online and that is you must first have a Passion for the company products and or service of any internet business that you are expecting to make money from.
Passion meaning that you simply have done your research and like the company and the product or services.
It will be then that you can transform your like or Passion into the education, excitement and work that will accompany the Passion.
There are many online entrepreneurs that are really great at what they do that they will ignore Passion because they are good at selling anything.
But this concerns me that people that are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.
Right I want to make it clear that I am not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because there are more tools that are needed for this toolbox.
To become successful you are also going to need.
- A good website
- Good Marketing Skills
- Company Support
- Effective Keywords
- Widespread Advertising (Free and Paid)
- And more.
Those things are often learn through the platform you join.
But the point that I am attempting to make here is that if you side step Passion then you will reduce your chances of success dramatically, especially when you are starting out.
Therefore it follows that, if you have no Passion for the company or training program or product and or services provided by them, again, you will not have the drive, the motivation to complete the work that you are being taught.
Internet Marketing in itself is not all that difficult or time consuming but it will involve motivation that is caused by Passion so that you can get started and sustain your efforts so that you will not stumble.
The amazing this is that you have a great resource in the search engines to search and research the Internet Marketing for business opportunities, so please use it.
When you do your own research it will help you to uncover a company and platform that you like and have confidence in.
It should be solid and founded on great principles and easy to understand with great products and services that are sellable and that you can become passionate about. If you don’t fine that then move on.

When you see comments like, that sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess that I’ll start that business….. blah, blah.
This does not sound like a decision made based on anything near Passion. Also remember when you heat that an internet ‘guru’ does that, please don’t be tempted, because as I mentioned earlier they are experienced at selling almost anything without having any passion for the product and or services let alone the company.
This brings me back to you must take steps before your enter the world of internet marketing and this is to do your own research and find a platform / company that you are passionate about.
This is the not only the best advice I can give to beginners but it is also a valuable lesson to carry you forward in growing your business, and for those that have been doing this for a while and wondering why they are still not making the kind of money that they should be.
Because they have not learned how to avoid the pitfalls.
